India’s Public Distribution System (PDS) is one of the world’s largest food security networks, serving millions through subsidized ration distribution. Despite its scale and intent, beneficiaries continue to face issues such as lack of transparency, biometric failures, long queues, and limited visibility into their entitlements. This project explores the gaps in the last-mile ration experience and rethinks the system through a service design approach focused on accessibility, accountability, and trust.
